Wednesday Sew Night at Sew Many Quilts

The classroom is set back up and ready to go, so we will be having our sew night at Sew Many Quilts.

We will meet from 4:30pm until we are done!

Meeting reminder and a few reminders

We're having a sew night on Wednesday, June 15th, from 4pm to 8pm at Sew Many Quilts.
Bring along your sewing project, we have plenty of time and room for machines and lots of work!

Also bring your quilts that need to be delivered to Sisters for display in the Quilt show. We'll be collecting these if you don't want to deliver your quilt yourself.

Other dates this summer:
Tuesday, June 21st, Third Tuesday meeting at the Lot in Bend from 5pm to 8pm. It's trivia night so bring your thinking caps!

Tuesday July 5th. Our normal first Tuesday meeting is cancelled because of Sisters Outdoor Quilt show.

Saturday July 9th. Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show. Come see our special exhibit of our Cool Color Challenge quilts.
Also join us for a MQG meetup in the Village Green Park around mid-day. Details coming!

Meeting reminder and the month ahead

Tonight, April 5th, from 5pm to 8pm we'll be meeting at Quiltworks in Bend. While you're there, be sure to visit the gallery and check out the quilts and other art inspired by the Novel Idea.

We'll do our agenda starting at 6pm, which will include a discussion of the upcoming challenge. Come with your questions about the challenge!

Please bring a hand work project to work on, anything you'd like to show & tell, your COMQG name tag, and your smiling self :)

Sew Night Wednesday

On Wednesday, March 6th, from 4pm to about 8 or 9pm, we'll be having a guild sew night at Sew Many Quilts.

Come enjoy their sewing space and enjoy a nice sewing time with friends. Bring along your sewing machine and project, or whatever you want to work on!

First Tuesday

Tuesday, March 1st is our next meeting! 5pm to 8pm at Quiltworks in Bend.

We'll start our agenda at 6.

--a bit more about negative space and low volume fabrics.
--our next number for the WIP challenge that Sara's hosting.
--a QuiltCon recap
--Show and tell. Bring your finished object from last month's WIP challenge. Or bring any other show and tell, particularly if you have any quilts that make good use of negative space.

Bring along:
--yourself! We love to have guests.
--a hand sewing project (binding, embroidery, knitting, etc) We have lots of sewing time at our meetings!

Tonight is the COMQG sew night at Sew Many Quilts!  It starts at 4 and goes until we want to go home.

As always, you do receive 15% off all regular priced merchandise you purchase. We also have the kitchenette if you want to bring dinner.

Wednesday Sew Day at Sew Many Quilts

On Wednesday, January 13th, from 4pm to 8pm, we'll have a sew night at Sew Many Quilts in Bend.

It's a sew night, so bring yourself, your sewing project, your sewing machine, and just sew on your own projects, and enjoy some chatting and social time.

Tuesday, January 18th, 5pm to 8pm at Stitchin' Post in Sisters.

At meetings, we have a lot of social sewing time, so bring a project to work on. At our Quiltworks meetings, it's best to bring some handwork as space can be limited. 

Also bring along: 

drinks or dinner for yourself if you'll be hungry or thirsty

show and tell items. We love to see your projects!

From 4pm to 8pm, all you have to do is sew your little heart out. just bring your project and machine and use the Sew Many Quilts classroom.

This week, we have a Sew night at Sew many Quilts, Wednesday December 9th 4 to 8pm.

Bring your sewing machine or whatever project, and just sew your little heart out!

Next week we'll have our holiday gathering at Dogwood Cocktail Cabin, downtown Bend, Tuesday December 15th at 5pm. Look for us upstairs.

Dues are due this month! 2016 Member dues, $25, are due to the treasurer before the end of the year. This is so we can pay our dues to the Modern Quilt Guild by the beginning of 2016.
