Challenge 2017

Our new challenge is here! This one features low volume fabrics and expansive negative space, two characteristics of modern quilts. 

This challenge will be due October 1st, in order to submit our group exhibit for the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show 2017. We expect to show our quilts at other exhibits during 2017 as well.

We'll do a show and tell of these quilts at the first meeting in October: 

Tuesday October 4th at Quiltworks. 

The challenge requirements:

each side must be 60 -70 inches
feature low volume fabrics
expansive negative space

your negative space should be light-colored
high contrast for the additional colors/fabrics you use
