To get in the holiday spirit, we will be sewing some tree ornaments, using this tutorial from noodlehead. If you want to, you can sew one of your own! Here's what you will need to bring along.
You bring/buy at Quiltworks:
- wool felt for the big tree background (at least 4 in by 8 in)
- fabric for the tree (about 3 in by 3 in: little scraps work great!)
- thread
- freezer paper and the tree template
- fiberfill for the stuffing
- yarn for the ornament string
- a bunch of holiday fabric scraps
This sounds so fun! I will also bring some fabric scraps.
