Third Tuesday in September

Can you believe it is already the third week of September??

We are able to meet at the shop this coming Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm.  We hope to see you there.

September's First Tuesday

Last night it was great to get back together at the shop again....
... we started September off with a little project - luggage tags!  These are a great gift or as a gift tag... even great around the neck of a wine bottle (thanks Erin for the ideas).

First Tuesday in September

The first Tuesday is here! 

Will will be meeting Tuesday September 6th from 5 to 8 pm at Quiltworks in Bend.

We will also be making these great luggage tags.  Bring your machine, a walking foot (there will be some to share) and some good size scraps or a few fat quarters.  Hope to see you there!

Summer seems to be coming to an end.

We wanted to share some photos of the Quilts in the Park show.  This was put on by Mt. Bachelor Quilters Guild, another local group.  Also, if you went to any other shows we would love to hear about it!

I hope everyone enjoyed the Sisters Quilt show!   If you had anything you liked in particular we would love to hear about it!!

Summer in Central Oregon

Hi Ladies!

This summer the group will not be meeting at the shop due to the many events in and around Central Oregon.  We do hope to get together a few times, so stay posted. 

Just a reminder this weekend is the Sisters Quilt Show.  If you go check out the quilts from the Portland Chapter of the MQG.  The show is Saturday July 9 from 9:30am to 5:00pm.

First Tuesday in April.....

We will be making gumdrop pillows by Amy Butler....
Please refer to the pattern for a materials list, all of which will all be availible to purchase at Quiltworks.

There are two sizes to choose from, 18" and 24"

For the larger pillow you will need 2 and 1/4 yards of one fabric or 1 and 1/8 yard of two different fabrics.
For the smaller pillow you will need 2 yards of one fabric or 1 yard of two different fabrics. 
You will also need your basic sewing supplies, including matching thread.
