June Guild Meeting Activity: For the upcoming June Guild Meeting please send Janet your favorite book about quilts. It can be anything related to quilts or quilting like a novel or a patten book. It could be a book new to you or your favorite go-to book. Send me a picture of the front cover and I will bring it up on the screen and you can tell us about it at our meeting.

Meet Susan

My favorite machine is my Juki (actually I own 2)

Now that I am an "empty nester" I do have a lovely dedicated sewing space--I feel so fortunate!

One of my favorite teachers is Sarah Fielke, from Australia.   I'm working to finish a BOM from a few years back that has many, many pieces!   But I love the colors and the pattern😉

My favorite part of quilting is piecing.

While I'm quilting I listen to audiobooks and when I'm not quilting I love to spend time with my family, camp and hang out on my pontoon boat in the summer, I also enjoy knitting and embroidery

Meet Sonia! 

Sonia started quilting in 1980 a time of no rotary cutters, no machines, quilting all by hand.

She likes both prints and solids. Her preference to hand bind.

Sonia says she enjoys every part and can dislike every part. Her favorite part of the process might be machine quilting on my domestic machine.
