To Boston With Love

The Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild is organizing a collection of flags to be sent to Boston as a message of support.  Flags will be 6 inches by 8 inches and have a binding tie that is 16 inches long.

Flags need to arrive in Boston by May 21st  for a Memorial Day event.  Kristin will be collecting the flags and mailing them on May 13th, so be sure to deliver the flags to her by May 12th.  Better yet, finish your flag at the COMQG meeting at the first Tuesday meeting May 7th, and deliver it to her then.

Check out the Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild blog for all the information about to Boston With Love.

For those that wish to participate, we will be sewing flags on Tuesday May 7th at our regular meeting at Quiltworks.  Some people will be bringing along fabric scraps for you to use if you want to participate and don't have fabric of your own to dedicate to this project.  They are asking for the color palette to be uplifting colors such as these:
